Gabs to Lead Brass Jury and Conduct Finale in 2026 Chieri Festival

Following a successful collaboration with the international festival in Chieri (Turin), Italy, last year, Gabs is thrilled to once again serve as the President of the Jury. This year, he will lead the Trumpet and Trombone section for the 2026 Competition, providing a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with esteemed soloists and educators in choosing the winners. This role demands keen listening skills, thoughtful evaluations, and the ability to navigate differing viewpoints within the panel. Gabs is eagerly anticipating this enriching experience once more. Additionally, he has been invited to conduct the orchestra for the concerto finale this year!
