Gabs as a Teacher
For over two decades, Gabs has inspired countless students, teaching academic and instrumental music within independent educational settings. His extensive experience as a former Director of Music includes the selection of Music Scholars and the successful accompaniment of students for examinations, achieving a success rate of 100%.
As a dedicated organ tutor, he has trained Organ Scholars and prepared students for auditions at prestigious Cathedrals and Oxbridge admissions. The main representative for the RCO Academy in Oxford, he has taught pupils of all ages and backgrounds for over 12 years.
He has lead masterclasses and taught in music courses, including for the Royal College of Organists in London. At the St Andrews University Organ Week in Scotland he has delivered lectures and tutored international students. Additionally, alongside Riccardo Cossi, he has promoted and taught at the Accademia Organistica Tergestina within the city of Trieste, Italy, an institution dedicated to the promotion of musical culture.
Gabs has Qualified Teacher Status from the University of Reading, Berkshire and has taught school children from Year 3-13.

Conducting lessons
There are very few conducting teachers around! If you are interested in this art, Gabs's coaching covers core conducting and baton technique, score preparation, rehearsal planning, programme design, and an introduction to orchestration, while also engaging in detailed study of interpretation and conducting styles inspired by the great conductors of the past.

Wide repertoire

Virtual instruments
Alongside his digital piano, Gabs boasts a 4-manual Hauptwerk organ in his home studio. This remarkable instrument, built by Forest Organs, allows him to play and teach on a wide selection of 'virtual organs,' including cathedral instruments from iconic locations across the UK, Germany, Holland, France, Spain, and Italy.
Immerse yourself in the organ repertoire as it was meant to be played, on the very instruments for which it was conceived. Experience the acoustics of magnificent buildings right from Gabs's home studio, adding extraordinary realism and authenticity to every performance.
Gabs has created a demo video showcasing this instrument, featuring the sampleset from the amazing Willis organ in a major English Cathedral, one of the many organs in his extensive virtual library.
Italian Language Coaching for Singers
Online lessons available
Gabs was born and raised in Italy, and therefore is fluent in Italian. As a native speaker, he understands the challenges that singers face when encountering this beautiful language in their repertoire. Whether it's grasping the nuances of a recitativo or conveying the emotions of an aria, Gabs is here to help you tackle grammar, enhance diction, and ensure accurate pronunciation.
Combining his skills as a mother tongue speaker, musician, and communicator in English, Gabs offers personalised lessons either face-to-face or online, adapting his teaching methods to suit your individual needs.
While in-person 1:1 sessions are always his top recommendation, you also have the option to schedule online consultations with Gabs via Zoom or Teams if meeting face-to-face proves challenging.
